About

Jordan Roberts, Executive Producer, Showrunner and Filmmaker

Jordan Roberts is a veteran showrunner, director and creative executive who has built premium genre and nonfiction projects for Netflix, Peacock and VICELAND. A graduate of NYU's film program, he has spent over two decades developing, packaging and executing ambitious scripted, unscripted and mobile-first work.

His credits span the cult-classic documentary The Kid Stays in the Picture, the Peabody Award–winning Nimrod Nation, and the Sundance Film Festival award-winning American Teen. In 2016, Jordan led the creative launch of VICELAND, Vice Media's television network, developing and producing IP distributed across Hulu, HBO and Amazon. Since 2018 he has show-run and executive produced Netflix's Haunted, streamed in over 190 countries.

Most recently, Jordan executive produced and directed for Peacock's John Carpenter's Suburban Screams — working alongside horror icon John Carpenter and helming the standout episode "A Killer Comes Home." He is now developing new scripted and feature work, and consulting with production companies and studios on premium genre and nonfiction development.

"I'm a filmmaker at heart. I started my career in documentary film, and when you blend genres together in a successful way, you can create a new experience." Jordan Roberts, on Suburban Screams — Digital Trends
